Field Day

The Coyote Trail students participated in field day on October 6th. Ms. Nissen planned many activities for the kids to do--including tug-o-war, frisbee toss, pool noodle javelin and so much more. The kids were able to show their athletic and competitive sides while having a great time with their classmates.

A big thank you to Ms. Nissen and the volunteers (including parents, grandparents and Marana High students) for an excellent morning--the perfect kick-off to fall break.

Grandparent's Day

On September 8, we welcomed our Coyote Trail grandparents to campus for a celebration.

The morning started with a special outdoor assembly.

The Girl and Boy Scout students presented our nation's flag and the audience joined together for the pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence.

The third grade students sang two songs--one in remembrance of 9/11 and one in honor of the grandparents.

As always, the assembly ended with a round of Happy Trails to You.

The grandparents were then able to join their grandkids for a pizza lunch, classroom tours and a visit to the Scholastic book fair.

Our students are so blessed to have wonderful grandparents!
